It's For The Children! (Shepherds' Corner)

2Peter 1:2-3

His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness,
through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.

It's for the children. Teachers apply for grants—grants for paper and pencils, grants for computers and library equipment, grants for almost everything imaginable. But the  grant is never enough to satisfy.

On the other hand God gives a grant to his children, and the word that characterizes this grant is "everything." In addition to the gift of eternal life, God gives each child of God a supplemental grant that cares for all his needs in this life until he reaches heaven.

The gift of salvation is given to those who own the Lord Jesus as their Savior. The grant of Christian living is given to any child of God who applies himself to know the Lord Jesus as his shepherd.

If you are saved, don't leave the "everything grant" unclaimed.
