Memorial Day Breakfast Picnic

What a great time of breakfast, fellowship, games, and fun! We've been celebrating Memorial Day Picnic Breakfast for over 30 years!
It's Kids-at-Camp Week!
This week many of our children and a few of our adults are at Iowa Bible Camp. So far they have made new friends, learned new things from excellent Bible teachers, caught fish, contributed to their teams, weathered a few hours in a tornado shelter, gone jet skiing in the rain, and countless other wonderful camp lifetime experiences.
Pray that this will be an accident-free week of spiritual fruit for both the adults and young people. Thank you!
ORBC Fathers' Day Review
Many thanks to The Ineloquent for a spiritual challenge through their ministry in word and music at our Fathers' Day concert.
Dan (middle) shared a stirring "Fathers' Day" testimony. At age fourteen, Dan faced what appeared to be the loss of his hero and best friend, his father to terminal cancer. For ten borrowed years God extended the life of his dad while teaching the family lessons of grace and trust. Out of which God gave Dan a testimony in song entitled "107." At the ORBC Bible Hour Fatherhood is not just biology. We began Paul's final letter before his death, a father-son communication between Paul and his spiritual son Timothy. Think about 2 Timothy 1:1.
Paul...to Timothy, my beloved son: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father...
Timothy's mother and grandmother had brought Timothy to faith in the Lord, but in the absence of a godly father, Paul raised Timothy as a father in the Lord. Now Paul was about to be martyred and he commended Timothy to God the Father for grace, mercy, and peace. It is the goal of parenting to lead a child from faith in an earthly father to faith in the Heavenly Father. If you are a man, are you fathering anyone in the Lord Jesus?
